Hailing from southern Finland, Planeetta 9's Pirun Piiska -EP is a four-part doom rock epic painstakingly contrived with blood, sweat and tears. Despite its brief EP format, it is an homage to the old school concept albums, capturing but also challenging the listener both musically and through the lyrics along its way. The six-member band's latest album combines heavy-duty riffs, grunge-style sudden harmonies and cinematic moods guaranteed to take the listener to an emotional adventure.
